Family Register (2026)

Description:

After being blamed since birth for destroying her family, aspiring animation writer Na Ji Ni grows up carrying wounds she can never fully speak about. Despite the harsh judgment surrounding her, Ji Ni refuses to give up on her dream of creating a Korean animation that can touch people around the world. Beneath her elegant appearance and natural talent lies a woman fighting to reclaim her own life and identity.

Standing opposite her is her mother, Na Se Ri, a former star cellist of the national orchestra who once ruled Korea’s classical music scene. Proud, ambitious, and seemingly untouchable, Se Ri has spent her life protecting the flawless image she built for herself while hiding deep fears and painful secrets behind her confidence.

As the strained mother and daughter are forced to confront the scars of their past, they cross paths with No Yeong Ju, a cheerful singing instructor who once dreamed of becoming a musical actress. Having endured countless hardships with unwavering optimism, Yeong Ju slowly begins searching for happiness for herself instead of simply surviving for others.

Bound by hidden pain, broken family ties, and the desire to start over, the three women struggle against prejudice, fate, and the lives they were forced into, while discovering what family truly means.
